A few months ago, I broke my knee, and I needed to stay in bed for a few weeks. I needed care and a nurse came by every day. One of those nurses had seen my tow hook caps. And asked me if I had printed it myself.
And he continued with “I bought a Balco 3D printer in ALDI a few years ago, I only used it once, it didn't work. Maybe you are interested in buying it from me”.
He wanted 100 euro for the printer, with 5 filament spools.
I had my doubts at first, but after doing some research on Google, I found that this was a direct drive printer, I didn't have one yet, and for 100 euros this was a bargain.
And after firmware upgrade, I printed some upgrade/additions for this printer.
